Service provider and scope
Direct bookings with Ocean Friends Tours are contracted with BOAT ADVENTURE TENERIFE SLU, NIF B42833228, Marina del Sur Las Galletas, Pantalán 5, 38631 Las Galletas, Arona, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, España. Contact: boatadventuretenerife@gmail.com. You must have legal capacity to enter into a contract and review the terms for your chosen option before paying. Bookings made through external platforms are subject to the terms communicated on that platform.
Service, prices and payment
The listing and summary identify the option, price, date, Canary Islands time, quantity and requirements. Prices are expressed in euros and include applicable taxes. Per-person rates and prices for a package or an entire boat are distinguished in the selection; extras are purchased only when expressly indicated.
Online payment, when enabled for your option, is made through Stripe for the full amount shown. This integration does not configure part-payments or deposits. The booking is confirmed when payment is received and verified and its status changes to paid. Opening WhatsApp, sending an enquiry or returning from Stripe does not in itself confirm a booking. If the status remains pending, contact us before paying again.
Cancellations and changes
For cancellations requested by the customer at least 72 hours before departure, 90% of the amount paid is refunded: 10% of the contracted amount is deducted as a cancellation fee. This percentage and its amount are shown before payment. No other cancellation fees are added.
There is no refund with less than 72 hours' notice. Failure to attend at the confirmed time and meeting point does not entitle you to a refund either. These rules do not add charges above the amount of the contracted service or limit mandatory consumer rights.
If the company cancels because of weather, safety or inability to provide the service, an alternative date or a full refund of the amount paid is offered, at the customer's choice. In this case no cancellation fees are deducted.
Request changes or cancellations by email, quoting your booking reference. Notice is calculated from the start time in the Atlantic/Canary time zone. Changes are subject to availability and express acceptance.
Meeting point and requirements
The usual meeting point is Pantalán 5 at Marina del Sur, Las Galletas; the point and time stated in your activity confirmation take precedence. You must meet the age, certification, fitness and safety requirements of the option purchased. Let us know in advance of any needs that may affect the arrangements. Neither the presence of wild animals nor a route incompatible with safety is promised.
Conduct and the marine environment
Follow the instructions of the skipper and team. Dropping litter, feeding, touching or disturbing wildlife and altering the environment are prohibited. The company may stop participation or the activity in response to behaviour that puts safety or the ecosystem at risk. The financial consequences will be assessed according to the circumstances and applicable legislation, without excluding mandatory rights.
Withdrawal and complaints
Leisure activities booked for a specific date or period are subject to the exception to the right of withdrawal in Article 103.l of the consolidated text of the Ley General para la Defensa de los Consumidores y Usuarios. This exception does not automatically apply to all courses, vouchers, goods or digital services: the applicable rules are communicated before purchase. It does not affect contractual cancellation or rights arising from breach of contract.
